When I look back over my years in the mortgage business, I can honestly say it is the people - my clients and their stories, that I remember the most. It is people just like you that make this business the pleasure it is. When I can help you find a creative, efficient solution that fits your needs, and build a lasting relationship with you at the same time, that is when I am in the zone.
My career in real estate began around the family dinner table. Our parents strongly believed in real estate as a way of building wealth, an income, and a future. They routinely shared that message with us through lively discussions about what was happening with the family business.
After college, aviation proved to be a stronger calling for me than real estate. I embarked on career as a commercial pilot, eventually leading me to cockpit of the Airbus A320 at United Airlines. I developed many skills in those environs that are very useful today. I still remain calm and communicate effectively when things get challenging, I'm still highly focused on detail, and I LOVE to problem solve.
Following United's severe downturn in 2001 I came back to the family business, real estate. Under my Brother David's highly qualified mentorship and through specialized training and education, I have been very successful integrating the skills I bring from my aviation background with a whole new field of knowledge. I have a natural curiosity about how to best get things done and I'll put those skills to work for you.
When I'm not at my desk, you'll most likely find me pursuing my recreational passion in life, cycling. My idea of a great Sunday morning is a punishingly fast 2200' climb to the west peak of Mt. Tamalpais, followed by an exhilaratingly fast descent to Stinson Beach for coffee. There is no better way to explore this incredible state, California, than on a bike.
